Sit Crew is the implementation of furniture repair studios near college campuses and universities. This is to allow students to have easier access to repairing their broken furniture, in hopes to raise awareness for the ongoing increase in fast furniture among college students.
WHY GIVE A SIT?
Sit Crew's mission is to make furniture repair simple, approachable, and accessible for students and young renters. Through repair kits, instructional resources, and community pop-ups, the brand empowers people to extend the life of their furniture and rethink disposable living.
The furniture industry has long centered its branding around the furniture itself, resulting in visual systems that often feel predictable, repetitive, and product-focused. Sit Crew shifts that focus to the people who use the furniture, creating a more human-centered approach to design. By highlighting the individuals rather than the objects, the brand reinforces the idea that meaningful change in the fast furniture cycle begins with the people who own, repair, and care for their belongings.
